The Evansville Courier, July 3, 1936 Article was typed as it was worded in the newspaper. WRITES LINCOLN PLAY ![]() Miss Alice Hebert, daughter of Mrs. Joseph A. Hebert, Cambridge Arms apartments, is the author of a one-act play which will be presented tonight in the Rockport high school auditorium as a feature of the Lincoln Country Summer Festival. Miss Hebert, who will be a junior at Central high school this fall, wrote the play as an Honor E project during her freshman year. It is entitled "Lincoln's First Great Sorrow." The late John C. Chewning, for a number of years superintendent of the Evansville public schools, was an uncle of Miss Hebert.
